Bali October 2025 Retreat Terms & Conditions
1) The Retreat rate You are paying includes the following:
- Your accommodation for 7 nights at The Ark, Ubud, Bali (24-31 October 2025)
- Your transport from Ngurah Rai International Airport (a.k.a. Denpasar International) to The Ark on 24 October 2025 and from The Ark to the airport on 31 October 2025.
- Daily morning yoga practice.
- Daily evening meditation/reflection session.
- Daily breakfast and lunch meals (vegetarian) + unlimited supply of drinking water, herbal tea + Balinese coffee.
- 3 Group dinners
- 2 Group excursions/activities, including any transportation required for the excursion.
2) The Retreat rate You are paying does not include flights, any visa requirements, any travel insurance requirements, and any additional expenses incurred by you during your stay.
3) The Ark requires its guests to have travel insurance acquired. You will be required to submit proof of this prior to your arrival at the retreat.
4) Magic Retreat Rates apply to payments made on or before 31 May 2025 and Late to the Party Retreat Rates apply to payments made on 01 June 2025 onwards.
5) Installment payment option available. Pay the first installment on or before 31 May 2025 to secure the Magic rate. If you book and pay your first installment on or before 30 April 2025, you will be entitled to receive 1 complimentary private yoga session + access to 1 group class (Value of BD33).
6) Payments are accepted via Bank Transfer. Locally made payments are also accepted via BenefitPay. Any Bank transfer/exchange rate charges will be borne by You.
7) Please note that a refund or discount will not be possible for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays or illness. There is no partial reimbursement if you choose to opt out of any part of the retreat programme.
If you cancel your participation in the retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy below will apply, with no exceptions.
If You cancel,
- 90 days or more prior to the start of the retreat, you will receive a full refund less a 15% non-refundable deposit.
- 60-89 days prior to the start of the retreat, you will receive 60% of your payment
- 0-59 days prior to the start of the retreat, no refund will be given. You may however, transfer your spot to a friend or relative, subject to notifying me about your replacement.
Although I would like to compensate people for unforeseen circumstances (injury, family emergency, etc.), I am a small business and I have to uphold my commitments to the retreat center and relevant suppliers, unfortunately I am not able to make any exceptions to this cancellation policy, and encourage you to take out travel insurance to protect yourself against illness, emergencies and changes in your circumstances.
8) In the unlikely event where I cancel a Retreat from my end, you are entitled to a refund for any payments you have made to me in advance. I will not, however, be able to compensate you for airfare or other travel expenses incurred.
9) At the Retreat you will be offered variations of yoga positions for you to choose from according to your level of fitness and physical capability. It is entirely your responsibility to listen to your body and make sure your practice remains within your physical capability. Yoga is not competitive and listening to your body and the extent to which it is available for the various poses is essential. I am not able to accept any responsibility for any damage or loss you may suffer as a result of your pushing your body beyond its limits.
